What Is Small Change for Big Change?   The SCBC Fund, Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.   SCBC stands for Small Change for Big Change (SCBC), and was created and is run by alumni of CVHS.  Our goals are to 1) give back and show support for teaching educational excellence, and 2) help alumni connect with each other and back to the school. SCBC raises funds for educators to be able to teach their classes effectively.  Since CVHS does not quality for Title I funding, the school's budget for essential supplies and equipment is virtually non-existent.  SCBC believes that small donations by thousands of alumni and the community will help maintain the high level of education at CV.

What Will Small Change for Big Change Do? The mission of SCBC is to empower educators, impact students, and create a community for alumni. Collectively, we are committed to maintain the excellence of Crescenta Valley High School.

What has SCBC already done? Since our launch in 2012, SCBC has raised over $20,000 for Crescenta Valley High School. Donations have come from generous alumni, parents, businesses and the community. With these donations we have helped positively impact our educators by providing them critical materials.
